Wills and Probate

Our law firm can prepare a Last Will and Testament for you and your family that provides for the disposition of your property at the time of your death. We can prepare a power of attorney which protects you and your property in the event you are unable to make decisions. We can prepare a living will, which allows you to make decisions about your medical preferences in the event you are later unable to do so.

We can also assist you with the probate of a Will after the death of a loved one. Probate is the legal process that transfers title of property from a person who has died to his or her beneficiaries. In most situations, we will prepare and file with the Probate Court an Application to Probate Will and for Letters Testamentary. If approved, the Court will issue an Order Admitting Will to Probate and Authorizing Letters Testamentary and will appoint an executor.
